Lawrence Kellogg on Ecuadorian President’s Alleged Florida Real Estate Ties
Lawrence Kellogg is featured in The Real Deal discussing Guillermo Lasso, a businessman and banker who became Ecuador’s 47th president this May. He is the subject of a report on questionable real estate deals in Florida. The purchases were made through limited liability companies, and since Florida allows for the beneficiary of an LLC to remain anonymous, it has been difficult to establish Lasso as the true owner of the properties. “Was he entitled to the money from the bank?
