Stephanie Reed Traband is a partner who focuses her practice on complicated commercial litigation, arbitration, receiverships, and enforcing creditors’ rights. Ms. Traband also has an appellate and international practice. Ms. Traband has represented companies, banks, and individuals in business and real estate disputes for twenty-five years. She also regularly serves as counsel to receivers or as deputy receiver in state and federal actions involving Ponzi schemes or consumer protection violations. She is on the panel of arbitrators for the American Arbitration Association for commercial and consumer matters and is a Florida Supreme Court qualified arbitrator. Ms. Traband is active in various bar associations, where she speaks on various litigation-related topics around the world.
Prior to joining LKLSG, Ms. Traband was a partner at Jones Walker LLP. Before that she was an associate at Proskauer Rose LLP and Hickey Law Firm, P.A. Ms. Traband has extensive trial, appellate, and evidentiary hearing experience as an advocate in federal, state, appellate, and arbitral fora, and she has significant adjudication experience as an arbitrator.
